Black Body Infra-Red Detection

The detection of moving fire risks for conveyor belts is through the use of a PyroScan3 Conveyor Fire Detection System. This unit is blind to direct and solar radiation and does not rely on the use of ambient light attenuating shields to reduce or control the effect of solar radiation. The detector is capable of detecting pre-ember smoldering combustion to full ignition.
